My name is Russell Peterson, and I am a seond-year journalism student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I have been a competitive swimmer for 12 years and counting. I love the sport deeply. It has taught me many life lessons, and I have a great passion for it.
For such a small area, the Central Coast is home to a vast number of talented swimmers ranging from the age group level to the college level. My goal for this blog is to cover these athletes, and the sport of swimming in San Luis Obispo County as a whole.
